PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a micro analysis chip having a degree of freedom in channel form higher than the conventional art, and to provide a cutting method of forming a groove in a curved surface of the hard brittle material by performing cutting using an end mill. SOLUTION: A channel where a sample flows is extended in the three-dimensional direction inside a body section. In the cutting method, the intersection of the rotation center axis of the end mil and the surface formed by the nose of the cutting edge of the end mil formed during rotation exists at a position separated from the surface of the hard brittle material outside the hard brittle material.
