PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply method and system for a transport vehicle which allows the transport of liquefied natural gas without wasting boil off gas produced in a transportation container for accommodating liquefied natural gas. SOLUTION: In a fuel supply method for a transport vehicle 10 which is equipped with a transport container 14 for accommodating LNG (liquefied natural gas) and which travels taking natural gas as travelling fuel, the transport vehicle 10 is driven taking boil off gas produced in the transportation container 14 as travelling fuel. By so doing, the transportation of LNG without dumping BOG can be executed. By employing BOG as the travelling fuel, the amount of traveling fuel covered by BOG can be reduced in advance from the amount of natural gas fuel replenished from a refueling device such as a quick filling device.
