PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary walking beam conveying apparatus, radically minimizing rolling and slip-down of a pipe occuring when a walking beam transfers the pipe, whereby misalignment of the end of the pipe can be prevented. SOLUTION: This rotary walking beam conveying apparatus conveys the pipe in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the pipe from pipe receiving tables 7, 9 to elevating V-stands 12, 13 elevating in alignment with the center of processing machines 5, 6. The walking beam 8 includes: a beam 15 making a circular motion while keeping in parallel to the horizontal line; a V-stand 16a having a V-valley for placing the pipe and provided on the beam; and a shift mechanism 31 for moving the V-stand 16a to the beam 15 in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the pipe.
