PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and easily perform jam processing and staple supplementing operation. SOLUTION: This post-processing device 1 comprises an intermediate tray part 4 for applying a predetermined post-processing to the paper fed from an image forming device 2 and a main frame 3. The intermediate tray part 4 comprises a first tray 5 and a second tray 6 connected to the first tray 5 and a tray opening/closing mechanism 7 which opens the first tray 5 and the second tray 6 when the intermediate tray part 4 is pulled out from the inside of the main frame 3 to prevent the intermediate tray 4 from being inserted into the main frame 3. When the second tray 6 is open, the intermediate tray part 4 cannot be inserted into the main frame 3. Consequently, the finger of a worker is not caught by the intermediate tray part.
