PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottle group transfer method and device capable of preventing damage and failure etc. of bottles by transferring a group of the bottles while maintaining their alignment state. SOLUTION: In this bottle group transfer method, the plurality of bottles B of which thickness of the central parts or lower parts is larger than that of the upper parts are placed and aligned on a first table such that the axial direction of each bottle B is the vertical direction and the central parts or the lower parts of the respective bottles B are contacted with each other. The group of the aligned bottles B is slid on the first table by pressing the group of the bottles B in the state where the periphery of the central parts or lower parts of the group of the bottles B are surrounded to maintain the alignment position of each bottle B, so as to transfer the group of the bottles B to a second table arranged in the bottle group sliding direction downstream side from the first table and in the lower side of the first table. In this case, the group of the bottles B is transferred while an inclination suppressing member 8 is provided at a gap between the upper parts of the respective bottles B forming the bottle group to suppress inclination of the bottles B.
