PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water jet propulsion device capably of rotating/driving an impeller relative to a water-leading pipe by reducing a calorific value from a coil. SOLUTION: The water jet propulsion device 1 is provided with the water-leading pipe 2 arranged on a hull not shown; a rotation pipe part 3 provided on a part of the inside of the water-leading pipe 2 along the water-leading pipe 2 and rotated relative to the water-leading pipe 2; and the impeller 5 fixed to an inner peripheral surface of the rotation pipe part 3. The device 1 is further provided with a field side stator 13 fixed to the water-leading pipe 2 and arranged with a field coil 12 for forming an N pole and an S pole; an N pole inductor 16 provided on the rotation pipe part 3 so as to be opposed to the N pole formed by the field coil 12 and an S pole inductor 16 provided on the rotation pipe part 3 so as to be opposed to the S pole formed by the field coil 12; and an armature side stator 18 fixed to the water-leading pipe 2 and arranged with an armature coil 17 for applying rotation magnetic field to the N pole inductor 15 and the S pole inductor 16.
