PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an ink ribbon from sliding and strongly colliding with a ribbon guide member when an ink ribbon cassette is loaded and to prevent an ink ribbon from jamming by contacting an edge face of a thermal head and an opening section in a sublimation type printer in which loading or unloading of the ink ribbon cassette is carried out in the longitudinal direction of the thermal head. SOLUTION: A press-up component is attached to the thermal head and a shape to be an abutment part is provided to the ink ribbon cassette. The shapes of the press-up component and the abutment part are determined such that the abutment part of the ink ribbon cassette and the press-up component are slid to expand a pass-through aperture for the ink ribbon in a condition that the ink ribbon cassette is loaded or unloaded.
