It is possible to provide an image processing device capable of performing a non-linear aspect conversion at a high speed with a small-scale circuit. The image processing device (10) includes: image data storage means (11) for storing image data; conversion parameter storage means (12) for storing an aspect conversion parameter; aspect conversion function generation means (13) for generating an aspect conversion function from the aspect conversion parameter; enlargement/reduction means (14) for converting the aspect ratio of the image data according to the aspect conversion function; and image output means (15) for outputting the image data whose aspect ratio has been converted to display means (not depicted).
