An acoustic chair for use in an open-air concert stand is provided to transfer an original sound across a space freely without being reflected from the back of the chair and to help a user feel more comfortable while sitting. An acoustic chair comprises a back board(10) having a plurality of through-holes(12) formed therein; and a mesh plate(20) fixed at a certain distance away from the back board(10) in a forward direction to form a space(30). The through-holes(12) are not limited to their number and shapes. As air freely passes backwards through the through-holes(12), a sound wave is not reflected from the back of the chair, thereby minimizing phase turbulence. The space(30) also causes the air move freely and further exerts a cooling or heating effect, helping a user feel comfortable while sitting on the chair for a long time.
