FIELD: power engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for use in power machines, converters of thermal energy of gas carrier into energy of compressed or rarefied air, for instance, in vacuum pump. It contains source of gas heat carrier connected with through heat exchanger placed in cooling chamber communicating with atmospheric air through working branch pipe. Inlet valve for periodical delivery of heated gas is installed at input of heat exchanger. Outlet valve is installed at outlet. Said valve is normally closed at gas pressure in heat exchanger equal to or lower than atmospheric pressure. Inlet valve is installed in working branch pipes of cooling chamber which is normally closed at pressure in chamber equal to or higher than atmospheric one. Chamber proper communicates with atmosphere through outlet valve normally closed at pressure in chamber equal to or lower than atmospheric one. Space of heat exchanger communicates with working branch pipe of cooling chamber through valve normally closed at pressure in heat exchanger equal to or higher than atmospheric pressure. ^ EFFECT: increased service life of pump, simplified operation of pump. ^ 1 dwg |
