<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical rubber unit diameter-expanding/holding member which can properly manage the pulling out force of a diameter-expanding/holding member when a rigid cylindrical body is disassembled even when being used for the reverse pulling type cylindrical body. <P>SOLUTION: One side surface of a string-like section 2 having an approximately rectangular cross section has an outer peripheral side engaging piece 3G, and the other side surface an inner peripheral side engaging piece 3N to constitute this cylindrical rubber unit diameter-expanding/holding member 1. In the cylindrical rubber unit diameter-expanding/holding member 1, an easily deformable section 30 of which the deformation is easy is provided at a part of the inner peripheral side engaging piece 3N. If the reverse pulling type rigid cylindrical body is formed by the diameter-expanding/holding member 1, when the rigid cylindrical body is disassembled by pulling out the diameter-expanding/holding member 1, the inner peripheral side engaging piece 3N easily tilts inward, and the outer peripheral side engaging piece 3G becomes easier to slip off.
