<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic menu device capable of ordering within a range up to the upper limit of intake calories. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic menu device comprises a menu database for collecting various attribute information including the calories of food and drink items, in association with item IDs; a means for displaying images by the control of a control means; an operation input means capable of receiving operation input by customers; a means for communicating with a POS system by the control of the control means; and a memory. The caloric value received by the operation input means is stored in the memory, and only the items with the values not more than the calories stored in the memory are set as the received object of order input and displayed by the display means in distinction from the items with the values larger than the calories stored in the memory. The order input is received in response to the operation input, and the received order input is output to the POS system.
