<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data management system or the like having inexpensive device configuration, in which distance between a data measurement instrument 14 or the like such as a body composition meter and a PC 11 is not limited by the length of a wired cable, a troublesome operation for data exchange such as attachment/detachment of a memory medium is not necessary and input of measurement data such as medical examination data does not require much time and labor. <P>SOLUTION: When a communication button 21 is depressed, a relay key 12 transmits prescribed information to the data measurement instrument 14 or the like. The data measurement instrument 14 or the like transmits measurement data to the relay key 12 side. The relay key 12 transmits measurement information based on the received measurement data to the PC 11. The PC 11 transmits the measurement information transmitted from the relay key 12 to a provider side server 44.
