<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage type water heater capable of simultaneously draining water from a plurality of hot water storage tanks and shortening the draining time, leading to improvement in serviceability. <P>SOLUTION: The hot water storage type water heater is equipped with: the plurality of hot water storage tanks 4 and 6 connected in series; a connecting pipe 5 for connecting an upper part of the water-intake side hot water storage tank 4 and the bottom part of the hot water storage tank 6; a plurality of water discharge pipes 12 and 13 connected so that one ends are communicated with the bottom parts of the plurality of hot water storage tanks 4 and 6; and one water discharge valve 11 for connecting the other ends of the plurality of discharge pipes 12 and 13 to each other to make them merge, provided at the merging part or on the further downstream side of the merging part. An air intake valve 14 is provided at an end of the connecting pipe 5 on the side connected with the upper part of the water-intake side hot water storage tank 4, and simultaneous water draining of the plurality of hot water storage tanks 4 and 6 is made possible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
