REDUCIBLE GAS SENSOR AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reducible gas sensor increased in its response speed with respect to a reducible gas.

SOLUTION: The reducible gas sensor includes a sensing electrode 3 active with respect to the reducible gas, a reference electrode 4 and a solid electrolyte 2 having ion conductivity and characterized in that the sensing electrode 3 and the reference electrode 4 are joined to the solid electrolyte 2. The sensing electrode 3 has a porous structure having pore parts with a pore size of 0.01-1 μm on its surface.
