ELECTRODE CHIP AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a liquid leak while achieving stable measurement in an electrode chip utilizable as a biosensor.

SOLUTION: A recessed part 14 is formed to the second joining surface 3a of a chamber substrate 3 and conductor patterns 5-7 formed on an insulating substrate 2 are housed so as to leave the gap in the recessed part 14. The communication part 14a of the recessed part 14 and a measuring chamber 11 is sealed by the sealing layer 21 formed in the measuring chamber 11.
