<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal of wide application of an ID holder represented by an RFID tag, and a presence confirmation notifying method. <P>SOLUTION: The portable terminal 100 is provided with a short distance communication part 34, a presence notifying part 44 and an ID storage part 46. The ID storage part 46 includes a correspondence table 47, and the correspondence table 47 stores a registration number specified by a user, identification information of the RFID tag, and information relating to a carried article to which the RFID tag is attached in association with each other. The short distance communication part 34 transmits request signals for confirming whether or not the RFID tag is present in the vicinity. The presence notifying part 44 notifies the presence confirmation of the RFID tag on the basis of whether or not the short distance communication part 34 receives response signals from the RFID tag storing the identification information stored in the correspondence table 47 within a prescribed period after the transmission of the request signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
