<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light control film which has a transparent layer and a light absorbing layer arranged alternately, the light control film being capable of controlling the emission angle of light from a light source relatively strictly and being improved in light use efficiency, an illuminator using the same, and further a display device. <P>SOLUTION: The light control film 1 which uses reflection by a refractive-index interface to have high light use efficiency is obtained by constituting so that: a transparent layer 3 is formed of a high-refractive-index region 3A and a low-refractive-index region 3B; and a light reflecting layer 7 is formed on a light incident surface of at least a light absorbing layer between the light absorbing layer and low-refractive-index region 3B. In addition, the illuminator 9 which incorporates the control film 1 and can switch lighting angles, and the display device which can switch viewing angles, are obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
