<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of quantifying a surface shape, which enables evaluation before manufacturing a die or the like by quantifying by simulating draw marks such as shock lines. <P>SOLUTION: The method of quantifying the surface shape includes: a stage where shape marks which are generated on the surface of a base stock by flowing-in while the base stock is brought into contact with the corner part of a tool at press-forming are simulated; a stage where the error of surface roughness between the shape marks and the region excepting the shape marks and difference in level between the shape marks and the region excepting the shape marks are measured on the basis of the result of the simulation; and a stage where the surface shape of a product including the shape marks is quantified as a concrete evaluation value on the basis of an evaluation formula taking the error of the surface roughness and the difference in level as variables. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
