<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging control method for battery system adapted to obtain information without connecting a signal line between electronic equipment and charging device. <P>SOLUTION: A battery system comprises a battery pack 40 including data calculation processing means 42 for calculating voltages, integral amount of charging currents, integral amount of discharging currents of a battery cell 41, a memory 43 for storing predetermined information, and means for communicating 45 with other devices, an electronic equipment driven by the battery pack, as well as having means for communicating with the battery pack, means for writing and reading out predetermined information into and from the memory 43, and a charging device for charging the battery cell 41, as well as having means for communicating with the battery pack, means for writing date and time information into the memory 43 when charging is complete and means for reading out predetermined information. In a charge control method for battery system, the electronic equipment calculates dark currents according to date and time information and current date and time when charging is complete, and corrects usable time of the battery pack to the electronic equipment according thereto. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
