<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner and an air cleaning method removing a large amount of acidic gas even with a saved space. <P>SOLUTION: This air cleaner is provided with an absorbing means absorbing acidic gas in an amine solution by contact of gas containing acidic gas with the amine solution; an adsorbing means adsorbing the acidic gas by strong basic negative ion exchange resin by contact of the amine solution absorbing the acidic gas by the absorbing means with the resin; a circulation line circulating the amine solution to the absorbing means and adsorbing means; and a liquid sending means sending the amine solution in the circulation line. The air cleaning method removing the acidic gas from gas containing acidic gas comprises a step for absorbing acidic gas from gas containing the acidic gas into the amine solution; and a step for adsorbing the acidic gas into the strong basic negative ion exchange resin by contact of the strong basic negative ion exchange resin with the amine solution having absorbed the acidic gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
