<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transcoding device that facilitates synchronous processing between respective contents such as a video image, sound, and data. <P>SOLUTION: A decoder 1 is composed so that an input encoded stream is divided into a video-image encoded stream and a sound encoded stream, PTS information is extracted while decoding the video-image encoded stream and sound encoded stream, and the PTS information is inserted into a vertical blanking region of video-image data generated by decoding the video-image encoded stream. An encoder 2 is composed so that the PTS information inserted into the vertical blanking region of the video-image data is extracted so as to generate an encoded stream by multiplexing the video-image encoded stream, the sound encoded stream, and data stream while executing the synchronous processing by using the PTS information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
