PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor material manufacturing method capable of easily performing the involving bonding of a decorative sheet to the side surfaces of the upper and lower end parts in the longitudinal direction of a base material for the floor material using a conventional lapping machine. SOLUTION: The base material for the floor material is installed in a laminator of a long strip-like decorative sheet of which the width almost coincides with that in the narrow width direction of the base material for the floor material, male tongue jigs are fitted to the male tongues of the side surfaces of the upper and lower end parts in the longitudinal direction of the base material for the floor material while a female tongues are fitted to the female tongues of the side surfaces of the upper and lower end parts of the base material for the floor material, the decorative sheet is bonded to the base material for the floor material to apply involving bonding to the upper sides of the left and right side surfaces in the narrow width direction of the base material for the floor material, the decorative sheet is cut at the cutting recessed parts provided to the respective fitting upper surfaces of the male and female tongue jigs, the male and female tongue jigs are separated from the base material for the floor material and the decorative sheet is subjected to involving bonding with respect to the upper sides of the upper and lower side surfaces in the longitudinal direction of the base material for the floor material.
