PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus operating with two power supplies of a battery and an AC adapter in which the operating time of the battery can be improved and a memory can be protected. SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus comprises a current control mechanism 46 connected with a Zener diode 43, a resistor 44 and a diode 45 and stopping current supply from a battery 38 to a constant voltage circuit 47 when a power required at the control substrate section 37 of the electronic apparatus has been supplied from an AC adapter 34 to the constant voltage circuit 47, and supplying a current from the battery 38 to the constant voltage circuit 47 when the power required at the control substrate section 37 is not supplied from the AC adapter 34 to the constant voltage circuit 47.
