PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embed watermark information that can be extracted with stable precision regardless of the size of a component for composing an object in digital data. SOLUTION: A watermark information embedding device 1 embeds the watermark information in document data. In the watermark information embedding device 1, an object size calculator 12 calculates the font size of a text for composing a text object included in the document data. As a result, a watermark information generator 13 generates the watermark information having a pattern composed of dots of size corresponding to the font size calculated by an object size calculator 12.
