PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for a vehicle capable of checking a seated occupant's move in collision. SOLUTION: A seat body 21 is constituted of a seat frame 22, a seating surface constitutional member 23 and a back surface constitutional member 24. A left bracket 71 is provided on a front end part of a left seat part constitutional part 35 and a right bracket 81 is provided on a front end part of a right seat part constitutional part 42. A front cross member 91 is bridged over the both brackets 71, 81, and the front part cross member 91 is arranged below a front part supporting position of the seating surface constitutional member 23. Length dimensions of both rear leg parts 111, 121 are set shorter than both front leg parts 34, 43 and the left and right seating part constitutional parts 35, 42 supported on each of the leg parts 34, 43, 111, 121 are lowered backward. A rear part supporting position 131 to support a rear part of the seating surface constitutional member 23 is positioned lower than an upper surface of the front part cross member 91 and the buttocks 134 of the seated occupant 132 on the seat body 21 are supported at a position lower than the upper surface of the front part cross member 91.
