PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of improving the transfer accuracy of an object to be transferred which is rolled into a roll without continuously knowing the use condition of the object to be transferred rolled into a roll. SOLUTION: The transfer device comprises a spindle 113 drawably holding a roll paper R, spindle supports 114 and 115, a paper feed roller 212 drawing out the roll paper R in the direction of drawing out, load cells 114b and 115b measuring the weight of the roll paper R, a tensile force computing section 201b which computes a tensile force to the drawing out of the roll paper R in the drawing-out direction on the basis of the measured weight, a control value decision section 201c which decides on a control value concerning the amount of driving of the paper feed roller 212 at the time when the roll paper R is drawn out on the basis of the tensile force and a transfer control section 201d which controls the rotation of the paper fee roller 212 on the basis of the control value at the time when the roll paper R is drawn out.
