PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a postformed counter permitting flexible adjustment of a desired bending angle without preparing a counter base material with a fixed bending shape. SOLUTION: The postformed counter is manufactured based on the following steps (A)-(G): (A) a step of forming a recessed groove 4 on the rear surface of one end of wood base materials 3 and 3'; applying an adhesive 5 in the lateral direction from the recessed groove and jointing the base materials; (B) a step of forming a curved face 7 by beveling the jointed end to obtain the counter base material 6; (C) a step of coating the upper surface, the curved face 7 and the lower surface of the counter base material 6 with a thermosetting resin decorative panel 2; (D) a step of cleaving the counter base material 6 with the joint part as the fulcrum 8; (E) a step of fitting a support body 17 into the recessed groove 4 after the cleavage; (F) a step of injecting the thermosetting resin into a gap 10 formed between the fulcrum 8 and the support body 17 and hardening the resin; and (G) a step of cutting the counter base material into a desired size.
