The motor has a primary part (2) with primary part grooves (7) for single or multi-phase windings, and a secondary part (3) with permanent magnets (4). End pieces (5) at the primary part are provided for force ripple compensation. A groove shaped recess (6) is provided at a front side of each end piece, where the front side faces the primary part. The groove-shaped recess is rectangularly formed, and has same depth and/or width as the primary part groove.
