<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ink having excellent reliability which contains a pigment dispersed in a resin, and can be used in an inkjet recording method for jetting ink by action of thermal energy to provide good jet stability, and can jet ink normally from the recording head by performing an indicated treatment to restore even stored for a long period in an ink-holding ink cartridge installed in a recording head. <P>SOLUTION: The water-based ink is used in an inkjet recording method for jetting ink from a recording head by action of thermal energy, and comprises a pigment, a resin, and a water-soluble organic solvent, wherein the pigment has hydrophilicity δm of 21.5 or more and 23.5 or less, and the water-soluble organic solvent has a content in the ink of 5.0% by mass or more and 17.5% or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
