<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection device where a cover glass is easily and inexpensively attached to a light source unit and which can prevent the cover glass from being broken or coming off when a shock is given and short circuit and leakage from occurring when a light source is damaged. <P>SOLUTION: Apertures 4a and 9a through which light emitted from a lamp is projected are provided to communicate each other on a metallic front case 4 with which the front of the lamp of the light source unit is covered, and an insulating member 9 attached to the inside of the front case 4 and having insulating property, shock absorbability and heat resistance, and fitting parts 4b and 9b in which the cover glass 8 having an ultraviolet removing function is fit are provided around the apertures 4a and 9a on the opposed surfaces of both members. By fitting the cover glass 8 in the fitting part 4b of the front case 4 and attaching the insulating member 9 to the front case 4, the cover glass 8 is held and fixed by the fitting parts 4b and 9b of the front case 4 and the insulating member 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
