<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which permits balloon displays rich in variation and making a strong impression on a player. <P>SOLUTION: Balloon members 63 and 64 are formed into the shape of a balloon panel having transparent panels 63a and 64a which can make the screen 35a of an image display device 35 visible and outer frames 63b and 64b forming the outside edges of the transparent panels 63a and 64a and is structured so as to advance out of/withdraw into an opening portion 36. The balloon members 63 and 64 are made to advance out/withdraw into by a motor, a rack and pinion or the like on the basis of the control of a performance control means.
