PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network construction aid apparatus which reduces various workload and time regarding the construction of a SAN (Storage Area Network) system and can further reduce a TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) for making a computer virtually design a SAN system and confirming an actually configured SAN system by using the design data. SOLUTION: The network construction aid apparatus stores temporary port information before acquiring at least two pieces of inherent port information in inherent port information provided in respective devices of a server, a storage and switches and replaces the stored temporary port information with the two pieces of inherent port information after acquiring at least two pieces of inherent port information in the inherent port information provided with the respective devices of the server, the storage and the respective switches to solve the above problem.
