PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability of a camera to be connected to a network by radio communication. SOLUTION: In the camera, the operation mode of the electronic camera 1 is switched into a web image viewing mode, a photographing mode or a photographed image viewing mode. When it is switched to the web image viewing mode, the camera is connected to the Internet via an access point 31 by radio communication between a radio LAN communication 24 and the access point 31. Then, a web image provided from a WWW server 33 is downloaded to display the image on a liquid crystal display 21. The radio LAN communication 24 performs predetermined communication processing such as format conversion, encryption, modulation/demodulation, and frequency conversion of data; and transmits/receives radio waves for radio LAN communication between the camera and the access point 31 or a PC 32.
