PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide thinning scissors which can thin hair without affecting the performance for shearing the hair caught by a comb tooth and without damaging the hair. SOLUTION: A concave section 212 is formed on a blade edge 211 of a bar blade 200 which overlaps with the end of a comb tooth 111 provided at a comb tooth body 100 when a combing scissor 10 is operated in a closing manner and an edge is given only on the inside of the concave section 212. Hence no edge is formed at parts other than the concave section 212 on the blade edge 211 of the bar blade 200 and the edge is given only at a part between the comb teeth 111 of the comb tooth body 100 required for shearing the hair.
