摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that the etching characteristics of an aluminum material, with respect to the conventional aluminum material for electrolytic capacitor electrode, are insufficient, and to provide an aluminum material for electrolytic capacitor electrode having excellent etching characteristics, an electrode material for electrolytic capacitor and an aluminum electrolytic capacitor. SOLUTION: Pb content is made to 0.3 to 2.5 ppm by mass. Further, the Lab metric lightness index (L value) of the aluminum material as measured by a predetermined method after evaluation etching under predetermined conditions is made to a value satisfying at least either of not less than 25 and not more than 56 for a pretreatment time of 30 sec and not less than 27 and not more than 58 for a pretreatment time of 45 sec.
