The device (200) has a stringer unit (104) provided as a collecting container and fixed between an outer skin (101) and interior lining (102) for collecting condensed water (103) between the outer skin and the interior lining. The stringer unit exhibits a S-shaped cross section, and a discharge line is connected with the stringer unit for discharging water. A drainage funnel is arranged between the stringer unit and the discharge line, which exhibits a hose. An independent claim is also included for a method for discharging of fluid between an outer skin and an interior lining of an airplane.
