<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent toner from that is consumed wastefully and to prolong the service life of a cleaning device, even without the use of sensors and mechanisms, etc. which precisely detect the number of remaining sheets of recording papers. <P>SOLUTION: An engine controller 202 starts an image formation execution flow (S400) and confirms the presence/absence of the recoding paper, in a paper ejection part (S402) when the controller 202 receives the next print reservation command.
