<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience by making it unnecessary to perform the input operation of a presence status by a user in a presence information management system. <P>SOLUTION: In this presence information management system 1, a user information transmitter 2 is provided with an electric field transceiver 5a for inducing an electric field to a user, and a presence information management device 3 is provided with an electric field transceiver 5b installed in a presence area for detecting the electric field induced to the user who is present, and for receiving user information.
