<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of efficiently dispatching a taxi even when there is no direct request from a taxi user by collecting position information of a plurality of portable terminals and checking a distribution. <P>SOLUTION: Information notified to a base station from portable terminals such as cellular phones carried by an unspecified number of users and a distribution state of terminals is acquired, for example, around which base station many portable terminals are distributed. When a request is received from an onboard device, distribution information of portable terminals within a prescribed range including the present position of the onboard device is displayed by the onboard device. Since the distribution of portable terminals are obtained, it is possible to obtain how many potential taxi users exist. The distribution of portable terminals is desirably displayed with map information and the present location of the other taxi vehicles. By linking to the map information, taxi dispatch may be determined on the basis of buildings, structures or traffic facilities in which the number of distributed portable terminals is large. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
