摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active matrix substrate which raises aperture ratio and display quality, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same and a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: In the active matrix substrate in which a signal line 107, a scanning line 102 and a common wiring 103 cross with one another, a pixel electrode 108 connected to the signal line 107 and a common electrode 104 connected to the common wiring 103 are alternately arranged in each pixel, common potential lines 105 are arranged on a lower layer of the signal line 107 and both sides of the signal line 107 via an insulating film and a floating film 111 is arranged so as to be mutually overlapped with an upper layer of the signal line 107 and the common potential lines 105 on both sides via a protection film. Thus, a shielding effect of the signal line is raised, the aperture ratio is raised by reducing width of a black matrix, parasitic capacity between the signal line and the common potential lines is reduced, a defect when the signal line and the floating film are short-circuited is minimized to raise the display quality.
