PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single-lens reflex camera which stops useless through image display, and prevent power consumption when performing through image display based on image data of imaging elements. SOLUTION: The camera is provided with a first reflection mirror 201 which can move to an evacuation position which evacuates out of a photographing optical path of an imaging lens 101, guides an object optical flux to the imaging elements, and a reflection position which guides the object optical flux to a finder optical system in the photographing optical path; a liquid crystal monitor 26 which makes the first reflection mirror 201 move to a first position, and performs the object image as through image display based on an image signal output from a main CCD 221; and an ocular detection unit 37 which detects looking of a finder by a user.
