PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish a steering reaction force control mechanism capable of suitably setting steering reaction force according to a driver and to contribute to reduction of burden of steering or accurate steering angle control. SOLUTION: A mechanical impedance of the driver is presumed based on an operation amount of steering operation of the driver performed in a predetermined period or when a steering wheel is forcedly rotated by a predetermined amount, and disturbance included in the presumed mechanical impedance and received from the vehicle is removed. Thereafter, the steering reaction force of the steering wheel is controlled based on the mechanical impedance removed with the disturbance. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
