SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the cellulose ester film comprises a process D0 of transferring the film after flow casting on a base, a process A of gripping an end of a width, and a process B of stretching in a width direction, and is characterized in that a residual solvent volume at a time of stretching start is 90-5 mass%, and Rt/R0is controlled so as to be within a range of 0.8-3.5.
