PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a small DC motor for vibration generation that can be started smoothly by small starting torque. SOLUTION: The small DC motor 1 for vibration generation has a stator 3, which is provided with an annular permanent magnet 2 magnetized to six poles, and an eccentric rotor 4 arranged inside the stator in a coaxial state. The eccentric rotor 4 is provided with a plastic rotor core 8, which has salient poles 11, 12 formed at an angular interval of 90 degrees, and a U-phase coil 15 and V-phase coil 18 wound around each salient pole. Each salient-pole head part 14, 17 has an arcuate shape that forms the angle of a nearly 57 degrees and is formed into a state of being offset to central axial lines 13a, 16a of salient-pole body parts 13, 16 by about 33.6 degrees to one side in the circumferential direction and by about 23.6 degrees to the other side.
