PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact switch capable of preventing a knob from backlashing. SOLUTION: A switch moderation structure comprises: a module switch 5 mounted within a switch case 3; a movable board 7 which is supported within the switch case 3 and engaged with the module switch 5 in a way that a knob mount assembly 17 projects outside of the switch case 3 to operate the module switch 5; and a knob 8 engaged with the knob mount assembly 17. The switch case 3 is provided with a cylinder 23 penetrating through the switch case 3 from inside to outside. The movable board 7 is provided with a moderation assembly 26 opposite to a hole 25 in the cylinder 23. The knob 8 is provided with a connection assembly 31 opposite to a hole 25 in the cylinder 23. The cylinder 23 is provided with a pair of steel balls 35, 37 with a coil spring 33 between them. The steel ball 35, one of the steel balls 35, 37 is connected to the moderation assembly 26, and the other ball 37 is connected to the connection assembly 31. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
