PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organopathy inhibitor which prevents organopathy accompanied by the employment of an extracorporeal circulation system to enhance the safety of operations accompanying the extracorporeal circulation. SOLUTION: This inhibitor for systemic inflammatory reaction syndromes, multiple organ failures caused by extracorporeal circulation is characterized by containing activated protein C as a main active ingredient; and the inhibitor for pneumonopathy caused by extracorporeal circulation is characterized by containing activated protein C as a main active ingredient.
