PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for improving the conveying accuracy of a material to be conveyed wound like a roll without continuously grasping the used status of the material to be conveyed wound like a roll. SOLUTION: This conveying apparatus includes: a spindle 113 holding rolled paper R to be drawn; spindle receivers 114, 115; a paper feed roller 212 for drawing the rolled paper R in a predetermined drawing direction; load cells 114b, 115b for measuring the weight of the rolled paper R; a calculating part 201b and a control value decision part 201c for calculating the acceleration in accelerating drive of the paper feed roller 212 in drawing the rolled paper R so that the resistance force due to inertia of a rolled part in drawing the rolled paper R is a predetermined magnitude based upon the measured weight; and a conveying control part 201d for controlling the rotation of the drawing roller 212 in drawing the rolled paper R based upon the acceleration.
