Two and three-dimensional CAD techniques allow control by co-ordinate-measuring devices and programming of their measurements on- and off-line. Values are automatically transferred to the device measurements during call-up of CAD text or drawings. During call-up of geometrical CAD elements auxiliary elements are automatically blended in. During call-up of already measured elements or dimensioning in two-dimensional drawings or three-dimensional models, measurement results are blended in.
