<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup capable of reducing the temperature of a laser unit 102 by reducing thermal resistance from the laser unit 102 to an optical base 101. <P>SOLUTION: A metallic holder member 3 comprising a shift holder 3a and a slide holder 3b is attached closely to a heat radiation pad 12 (heat radiation part) provided on the back surface of the laser unit 2, and the holder member 3 is closely attached to the reference part 8 of the optical base 1. By the constitution, since the thermal resistance from the laser unit 2 to the optical base 1 can be reduced, the temperature rise of the laser unit 2 is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
